14-day refund window

Kings Grind Music wants you to feel confident when you commission work. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may request a refund within 14 calendar days of your order date. This applies to the 50% deposit and to any balance payments you make.

Refunds are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and returned to the original payment method when approved.

When a refund may not be available

We cannot promise a refund where work has already been substantially performed, where digital files or licences have already been delivered to you, or where the law otherwise treats the item as non-refundable. Common examples include:

  • A custom instrumental or full production that has already been written, recorded or delivered to you.
  • A business jingle or audio branding file that has already been finalised and delivered.
  • Any licence that has already been granted and used, for example in a release, video or advertisement.
  • Non-refundable fees or charges that we are legally unable to return.

In these situations we will explain why a refund cannot be issued and, where possible, discuss alternatives such as revisions or credit toward future work.

How to request a refund

To request a refund, contact us at booking@kingsgrindmusic.com. Please include the service you booked, the email address used at checkout and any payment reference you received so we can find the order quickly.

Once approved, the refund is returned to your original payment method. The time it takes to appear depends on your bank or card issuer.

Deposits and work in progress

A deposit reserves your production slot and starts work. If you change your mind, tell us as early as possible — the sooner you do, the less work is affected. Requests made within the 14-day window are handled under the window above, but if we have already begun creating your track the refund may be reduced or declined to cover work completed.

Licensing after a refund

Where a project payment is refunded, any licence granted for that music ends and the recording may no longer be released, monetised or used commercially. Ownership of the work remains with Kings Grind Music, as set out in our Terms & Conditions.

Balance payments and cancellations

The remaining 50% balance is never charged automatically — it is invoiced on final delivery. If you decide not to continue before the balance is paid, there is nothing to cancel; simply let us know and no further payment is taken.
