Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to every project commissioned from Kings Grind Music. Please read them before paying a deposit.

Last updated: August 2026

1. Who you are contracting with

This website and all music production services offered through it are provided by Kings Grind Music ("Kings Grind Music", "we", "us"). When you commission a project, pay a deposit or use this site, you are entering an agreement with Kings Grind Music. You can reach us at booking@kingsgrindmusic.com.

2. Acceptance of these terms

By using this website, submitting a project brief or paying a deposit, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or commission work. Continued use after we update these terms means you accept the updated version.

You confirm that you are of legal age to enter a contract, and that where you are ordering on behalf of a company or brand, you have authority to bind that organisation.

3. What we provide

We create original music to order: custom instrumentals, full song production (including arrangement, vocal production support, mixing and mastering) and short-form audio branding such as jingles, hooks and stingers. Each project is defined by a written scope confirming deliverables, revision rounds, licensing terms and an estimated delivery window.

Prices shown on this site are starting prices. If the scope changes, any difference is quoted to you in writing before further work is carried out. Turnaround times are good faith estimates, not guarantees, and depend on how quickly you approve the brief and provide feedback or source material.

4. Payment and deposits

Projects begin with a 50% deposit. The remaining 50% is due on final delivery and is not charged automatically — you are invoiced or sent a payment link for the balance. Final files are released once the balance is settled.

Payment, billing, currency, tax and invoicing mechanics are handled by our payment provider. Refund requests are handled under our Refund Policy.

5. Checkout provider

Online deposits are processed through Stripe-hosted checkout. Kings Grind Music remains responsible for the creative services, project communication, licensing terms and support for commissioned work.

6. Ownership, licensing and your material

All compositions, recordings, stems and artwork we create remain the property of Kings Grind Music until rights are transferred to you in writing under an agreed license. Each completed project ships with a written license stating exactly what you may do with the music — for example release, monetise or sync it in ads or video. Exclusive rights and buyouts are quoted separately.

Where you send us reference tracks, vocals, lyrics, logos or other material, you confirm you have the rights to do so, and you grant us a limited licence to host and process that material solely to deliver your project. We are not able to reproduce or copy a third party's copyrighted recording, and we do not accept briefs asking us to do so.

Our own site content — branding, written copy, catalogue recordings and artwork — remains our intellectual property and may not be resold, redistributed or used commercially without a written licence.

7. Acceptable use

You must not use this site or any music we deliver to:

  • break any applicable law or regulation;
  • commit fraud, send spam or misrepresent who you are;
  • infringe anyone's copyright, trademark or other rights;
  • interfere with the security or operation of the site, including malware, probing, scraping or attempting to bypass access controls;
  • resell, redistribute or sublicense music beyond the usage granted in your written licence.

You must provide accurate information when submitting a brief or paying, and keep it up to date so we can reach you about your project.

8. Service availability and warranties

We work to keep this site available and accurate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error free operation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Creative work is subjective; revision rounds included in your scope exist so the result can be steered toward your brief.

9. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from a project is limited to the fees you paid for that project. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits, lost revenue, lost data or loss of goodwill. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury where such exclusion is not permitted by law.

You agree to cover claims that arise from material you supply to us, from unlawful use of the music, or from a breach of these terms.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end work, and withhold delivery or licensing, where there is a material breach of these terms, non payment of a balance, suspected fraud or a security risk, or repeated or serious misuse. Where a project is ended, any licence granted for undelivered work does not take effect, and completed work already paid for remains licensed to you on its agreed terms.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the business changes. The version published here at the time you commission a project is the version that applies to it.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws applicable at Kings Grind Music's place of business, and disputes are subject to the courts of that jurisdiction. We would always rather resolve an issue directly first — email booking@kingsgrindmusic.com. You may not assign your agreement with us without our consent; we may assign ours as part of a business transfer.
